Network analysis of blue carbon governance process in Indonesia

To align with international climate efforts to remain within 1.5 degrees of the earth temperature, Indonesia requires concerted measures from actors preserve and restore carbon rich ecosystems, especially blue ecosystem. Although studies have suggested importance ecosystems in contributing Indonesian action, translating science policy remains a challenge. Mapping pattern information exchange related can help identify potential barriers governance process development. This study uses Social Network Analysis integrates it results in-depth qualitative evaluation institutional respondents. Data is obtained through questionnaires semi-structured interviews representatives broad range organizations. It was found that actor who oversees fulfilment commitment, which most common objective network, not central actor. Second, highest degree centrality received little trust other actors. Third, overall, network has low quality ties.
